Shared Hosting has the exact same features of a conventional
hosting plan. This includes file management, no-ads, security and virtually
everything that coincides with web hosting. The only thing
that is lacking is the Unique domain name (yourname.com). Here,
you are given a free name. Also, if the standard ratio of bandwidth
to webspace is 1:10, it will be reduced to 1:5. This slight difference
does not affect the personal sites and small business sites in any way
that completely litigates their status in the internet.

How do I pay? / Is there another way?
For now, you can only pay us thru Globe Gcash. If you don't have one, or if you are using a different sim, have a friend pay it for you! :) But, make sure the information you send will reflect that you are paying for your account. Also, You are not under contract to pay us annually or 6 months in advance: in fact You can pay in advance only if you feel like it. :) But for your security purposes and for our sanity, it would be best if you pay us monthly. :)
What are the requirements when applying?
We will need your full legal name, a working email, and a mobile phone number that is Globe Gcash Compliant.
Can I upgrade my Hosting plan?
Yes, you can upgrade anytime. Your new billing cycle will be encoded and reflected on the day of your upgrade.
How will I be billed?
You will be billed every 30 days upon account activation. (i.e. If your account was activated on March 20, Your next billing will be on April 20. You basically pay for an advanced 30 day service.)
If I want to cancel, do I get a rebates?
If you wish to cancel, we will charge you Php2 a day for the basic plan from each day that you used our service. We will deduct the remaining days that you have purchased from us from there: we base our billing to a cycle of 30 days. This also
applies if there are downtime issues.
What happens when I don't get to pay?
You will be informed at least 2 days before your payment date, depending on your billing cycle. If you do not get to pay on the expected date, we will then temporarily disable your website until you pay us. If in two weeks we have not recieved any reply from you, we will then delete your account from our servers.
When will I get my Account Activated?
Upon recieving your payment, we will proceed with the process of activating your account. Please do allow a maximum of 10 hours for your account to be fully functional: you will be informed via text once your account is up and running. ~Usually though, it takes less than an hour for it to be activated. :)
How do I know when my Site is running?
Once you've recieved a text or email from us, you will see 1lyt.com's default index page on your website. You can then start uploading your website thru your FTP software.
Why don't you have a Cpanel? How do I access my account?
Because of the upsurge of hackers, online transactions are always dangerous: FTP provides privacy and security.
With our hosting packages though, you will not need a Cpanel; You can upload and download files using your favorite FTP software. If you do not have an FTP software, go to our Tools section and download it for free. :)
Are there limitations to what I can upload?
There are no limitations in what you wish to upload, except for files that are held in a copyright policy (which you will be personally held liable for), and for files and content that are found to be in violation of our terms and conditions. Other than that, You can upload any amount of files: just be mindful and aware of your bandwidth.
How do I know if I used up too much bandwidth?
You can check your webalizer. You would be able to see your sites' status.

What happens when I have used up too much bandwidth?
If you went over your limit, you will be informed and will need to pay extra PHp50 per 2.5GB of bandwidth.
Do you allow Adult/Porn Content?
NO. Our hosting servers do not allow adult content or pornographic materials. If you are looking for an adult webhost, try searching at google.
What if I want a domain name? How do I get one?
Unfortunately we do not offer unique domain names (unique IP address or private DNS). But, if you've purchased one and wish to apply it in our hosting packages, You can set your domain name to REDIRECT to your sites' subdomain name.
Do you make Backups?
No. We do not offer this Service.
What if I need Technical Support?
We do not provide technical support on hosting issues, but if your concerns are on the instructional side, You can text us or email us, and we would be glad to help. In case of downtimes though, expect to be informed beforehand.
Do you have a record of Downtime?
All hosting companies have a record of downtime. Ours is 99.35% (This is computed by the number of days our servers are working since the day the company has opened 7 years ago). :)

Because of competition, indulge us for not saying our host providers name.

I only have a modem connection: will it affect my account/site/design?
Generally, Your account's status will not be affected. But of course, a good connection can greatly affect your designing and uploading performance.
Just curious: What does 1lyt mean?
It's actually an acronym for my inspiration. My Wife. She's a pre-school teacher for an international school. 1lyt stands for "One Lovely Young Teacher!"
